About Me

My name is Gunnar Ohberg, and I'm a writer and independent editor from Atlanta, Georgia. My favorite genres to write are grimdark fantasy, grit-lit, magical realism, and horror. I have short stories and poems in various publications including The Mark Literary Review, in media res, The Old Red Kimono, The Racket, and The Fieldstone Review. My editing experience includes developmental editing, copy editing, line edits, and proofreading. I received a BA in English from the University of Mississippi with a Minor in Cinema Studies and an MFA in Writing from the University of Saskatchewan. I love helping young writers develop their voice and hone their craft,  and I hope this website will inspire others to write the stories they need to tell.
